FR | Ce fut une activité avec une grande dimension économique en Algarve, pendant plusieurs siècles, comme produit d’exportation pour l’emballage et le transport des aliments. Le but de cet atelier sera d’apprendre à tresser 7 branches, fabriquer de la corde avec des feuilles de palmier (baracinha ou tamissa) et à partir de ces deux éléments, former un petit panier ou un panier individuel, selon la dextérité de chacun. FR | La dentelle aux fuseaux revêt aujourd’hui un caractère patrimonial, étant l’un des arts les plus remarquables de la tradition textile portugaise, avec une plus grande incidence le long de la côte, dans les communautés de tradition de pêche (Vila do Conde et Peniche). L’atelier consistera à réaliser un échantillon de dentelle, en utilisant les trois ustensiles habituels nécessaires, tels que le coussin, les fuseaux et la carte avec le motif de dentelle marqué par des perforations, auxquels sont ajoutés le fil et les épingles. EN | Now a heritage item, bobbin lace is one of the most remarkable arts of the Portuguese textile tradition, with a greater prominence along the coast in communities with a fishing tradition (Vila do Conde and Peniche).
