Klapp Kelly & Schuler Michèle

Michèle Schuler (53) and Kelly Klapp (28), owners of Oni's Workshop (Michelau), are a mother-daughter team who have been making costumes and accessories since 2017. Kelly studied art and 3D design, while making costumes on the side. She has won several awards for her attention to detail, including a double win at the Blizzard European Costume Competition in 2015 and 2016. This earned her the nickname Oni. Her mother, Michèle Schuler, a passionate sewer and historical costume enthusiast, was already sewing for her and her two children when they were younger. She later supported her daughter when her hobby turned into a more serious business. Specialised in the production of costumes and special clothing, Oni's Workshop S.ar.L-S has now been in existence for over four years. Michèle has the knowledge of sewing, embroidery and cutting of historical models. The 18th century is her area of expertise, while Kelly has the technical knowledge of special materials such as thermoplastics and leather and knows how to make the most difficult fantasy designs
