Lucie Majerus
Born in Luxembourg in 1992, Lucie is a recent graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven. During her internship year, she worked for artist Claudy Jongstra, designer Margethe Odgaard and Snedker Studio. Her works have been exhibited at the Dutch Design Week (NL), De Mains de Maîtres (L), Casino Forum for Contemporary Art (L), Salone del Mobile (IT), Young Creation Triennale (L), Intro_Gallerie Beim Engel (L) ), Rotondes (L) and Cecil's Box of Cercle Cité (L).
Lucie likes to question the ordinary and encourage people to do the same. She likes to stimulate their imagination and their joy and make them laugh for a moment. Lucie likes to take a look at the past to better understand the present and imagine the future. His areas of interest include conceptualization, exploration of our five senses, experiences and memories, social cohesion and material experimentation. She uses multidisciplinary methods in her projects ranging from food, textiles, jewelry, colors to illustration, costumes, scenery and installations and interiors.
