Pierre Renart

Passionate by the creation and manufacture of wood objects and furniture since he was 5 years old, Pierre Renart sits a scientific baccalauréat before entering the Ecole Boulle in Paris, from which he graduates first of his promotion in 2011. Very quickly, known for his exceptional chair “Genèse”, a piece created for his graduation exam, he opens his workshop the same year and attracts immediately many collectors.

Tireless explorer of the material, passionate by the manufacture process and the transformation techniques, Pierre combines the traditional know-how of wood with modern technologies. His creations are driven by the interaction between nature with the beautiful wood essences and the human genius to work sophisticated and performing materials. The particularity of his art comes from favouring the elegance of the drawing while integrating perfectly the function of the furniture, so that both blossom in a perfect harmony.
