Pour cette édition 2021, De Mains De Maîtres à choisi de mettre à l’honneur les artisans belges en invitant BeCraft, association professionnelle valorisant les métiers d’Arts appliqués des régions de Wallonie et de Bruxelles. Au total, 13 créateurs des plus talentueux qui nous présenteront une quarantaine d’œuvres dans le foyer du 19Liberté. BeCraft est une association professionnelle valorisant les métiers d’arts appliqués des régions de Wallonie et de Bruxelles. Quatre objectifs principaux motivent les actions de l’association : le soutien et la promotion en Belgique et à l’étranger de ses artistes membres ; l’information et la formation du public et des professionnels du milieu. Ces objectifs s’articulent autour de trois grandes aspirations qui fondent l’association depuis sa création : La valorisation des artistes de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles et des arts appliqués, de manière générale, constitue la base même de l’existence de l’association. Le déploiement du réseau, nécessaire à la concrétisation du premier point, est continu lui aussi. C’est la raison pour laquelle BeCraft, depuis sa création, travaille en étroite relation avec le WCC Europe, au sein de la structure mondiale du World Crafts Council. Ce réseau que cultive BeCraft vise notamment à favoriser les échanges artistiques entre la création belge et étrangère et par-là, le dialogue, la stimulation et l’émulation des arts appliqués. For this 2021 edition, De Mains De Maîtres has chosen to honour Belgian craftsmen by inviting BeCraft, a professional association promoting the applied arts in the regions of Wallonia and Brussels. In total, 13 of the most talented creators will present some forty works in the foyer of 19Liberté. BeCraft is a professional association which promotes the applied arts in the Brussels and Walloon Regions. Four main objectives drive the association's actions: the support and promotion of its artist members in Belgium and abroad; information and training both the public and the professionals in this field. These objectives revolve around three high aspirations founding the association since its inception: To value the artists from Wallonia-Brussels and the applied arts, in general, constitutes the very foundation of the association. The network deployment, needed to achieve the first point, is continuous. It is for this reason that BeCraft works, since its creation, closely with the WCC Europe, within the global structure of the World Crafts Council. This network cultivated by BeCraft aims notably to encourage artistic exchanges between Belgian and foreign artistic creation and therefore the dialogue, the stimulation and the emulation of the applied arts.
