ze schaafen. Hien entwéckelt Formen aus Blech,
déi ëmmer méi reng a méi liicht ginn an him et esou
erlaben, souwuel un der Graphik wéi och um Volume
vum Metall ze schaffen.
Misch Feinen s’installe au Luxembourg après
des études en arts plastiques à Strasbourg. Il
travaille d’abord en tant que graphiste, avant de
se concentrer sur ses propres créations. En tant
qu’artiste indépendant, il travaille autour de l’histoire
industrielle, des paysages construits et déconstruits
à travers des photographies, dessins et objets en
acier. Egalement membre de groupes musicaux, des
collectifs Maskénada et Dkollektiv, auteur de textes
experimentaux, d’installations et de projets de théâtre,
il s’engage à conserver et à promouvoir la culture
artisanale industrielle.
Son travail autour des matières ferrées usées a débuté
en 2007 avec l’assemblage de vieux outils pour se
poursuivre sur des formes plus constructives à base de
ferrailles recherchées pour leurs formes spécifiques.
Avec la découverte du découpage plasma, Misch
développe une recherche de formes sur des tôles
de plus en plus fines et légères, lui permettant de
travailler le graphisme et le volume du métal.
Misch Feinen moves to Luxembourg after studying
plastic arts in Strasbourg. He works first as graphic
designer but later on focuses on his own creations.
As a freelance artist, he works round the industrial
history, the constructed and unconstructed landscapes
through photography, drawings and steel objects.
Also member of music groups, of the Maskénada
and Dkollektiv groups, author of experimental texts,
installations, theatre projects, he engages in preserving
and promoting the industrial artisanal culture.
His work with used iron materials began in 2007 with
the collecting of old tools followed by the creation of
constructive forms based on scrap material chosen for
their specified shapes. After discovering the plasma
cutting, Mish develops a form research on metal sheets
becoming increasingly finest and lightest. This allows
him to work the graphic and the volume of the metal.
